Committee Meetings Links | The Big CheeseAll members can benefit in the joint promotions through advertising their events or activities in the forums leaflet `The Big Cheese` which is a quarterly listing promoting arts events from all members venues. The cost is shared, 5,000 are distributed Dorset wide and a large mailing list is sent a leaflet direct each quarter. The Big Cheese coordinator for 2007 is Pascale Barnes from the Ancient Technology Centre, Telephone: (01725) 517618.The Big Cheese is a quarterly publication which is published for 1st January, 1st April, 1st July, 1st October. The Sting in the Tale "a Festival of Stories"18th August – 27th August Sting in the Tale is a successful, nationally recognised `Festival of Storytelling` celebrating the ancient oral tradition of telling and performing stories. It is a collaborative project between local authorities, arts and crafts venues, tourist attractions, theatres, museums and historic sites.The Sting in the Tale ` a festival of stories` is now planning for 2009 with an exciting development to produce a February Half Term programme of events `Spring in the Tale` as well as our main festival of storytelling events which next year will take place 22nd August - 31st August 2009.
