Summer Artz Plus & Sportz Plus

2009 Artz+ and Sportz+ School holiday arts and sports events for children with additional needs and their families. This year there is truly something for everyone in our programme of events taking place across Dorset.
You can lose yourself in stories of mystery and magic, drum up a tale in the jungle or help create a unique Dr Who soundtrack. You can get your hands dirty shaping a funky fish, make some pirate gear or create a crazy hat decorated with the things you love.
If you are a budding performer you’ll enjoy trying some song and dance routines from the movies or taking part in our very own Britain’s Got Talent. If you like drama then you can delve into the story of Beauty and the Beast with theatre companies DATco and TOPS or join Curious Arts for a fantastic all-day Indiana Jones drama workshop!
Sportz+ offers lots of opportunities to get active. Have a go at athletics and trampolining and polish up your sports skills to play better football, netball, tag rugby and badminton.
So there’s lots of fun things to try this year and as usual, brothers, sisters, parents and carers can join in too.
